Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan is as frozen as ice during extreme winters, which lasts for months, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan is as dry as a dessert during summer--this captures the image of Central Asia today. Winter deaths in the Upstream is evident as millions of Tajiks and Kyrgyz suffers from the inadequate and inaccessible energy that would at least give them a couple of degree celsius to warm up their freezing bodies. Poverty, joblessness, and bankruptcy among Uzbek and Turkmeni citizens, farmers, and agriculture industry respectively had surfaced-bold in the Downstream as water drizzled the land in scanty droplets. Such unfortunate situations trails back to the struggle of acquiring such a precious commodity--WATER, and a hint of conflict of interests. Indeed, Water brings Life, but it can also take away Life.
